Dear Committee Members,
I am writing to ask for your help. Please contribute to future newsletters. Ideas are welcome! If you would like to write a book review, paper synopsis, report on an interesting event, an emerging field, a literature review, or report on an application of motion planning in industry, or on anything that may be of interest to our committee, please let me know. The livelihood of this committee depends on all of us! This is also a great opportunity for the students among you to contribute and to gain some visibility.
I am also looking for a volunteer to coordinate a "Algorithms for Motion Planning and Control Showcase" - a collection of 1 minute videos along with a title, brief description, and short list of most relevant references. We want to use this to showcase most recent research in a visually appealing form to the entire community. Since most of us already have some type of video about their research, this should be well worth the effort. If you would like to volunteer, please let me know.
