Dear Committee Members,
We are happy to report that at ICRA in Orlando the RAS AdCom approved our newly founded IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Algorithms for Planning and Control of Robot Motion, or TC-APC for short. Congratulations!
We are also happy to introduce the TC-APC Wiki, which will serve as the main Web site for this technical committee. You can find it here. We hope that you will actively contribute by adding content to those pages. Below we have attached some instructions for editing the Wiki. Furthermore, there is a TC-APC mailing list (tc-apc@cs.umass.edu) through which all committee members can be reached.
In this first newsletter we would like to invite your contributions to the technical committee in the following areas:
- Please encourage other researchers and your students to join the TC.
- Please contribute content to the TC-APC Wiki.
- Please help to expand the Wikipedia entry for Motion planning, which is linked from the TC-APC Wiki.
- Please make contributions to this newsletter.
- Please feel free to make suggestions for TC activities.

There is a sandbox on this page where you can try out some of the features of the Wiki. Editing the Wiki is very easy and we hope that this ease will encourage you to contribute.
